On the 6th of December Santa Claus came to visit our Preschoolers. He brought some gifts for all the good children. Thankful for the visit we sang him some joyful songs. Check the gallery to see some pictures from that event.

On Thursday, November 22 our Preschoolers celebrated the American Thanksgiving at our preschool. All hands were on board on this day. Mr. Stuart Field, Mr. James Gibbs as well Mrs. Piekarska and Miss Weronika prepped the ingredients brought by the parents for the Fruit and Veggie Turkey. But the main job was done by our preschoolers, who have prepared a special Thanksgiving table cloth with paper turkeys pasted on it. Next, they have made wonderful Veggie and Fruit Turkeys using a variety of ingredients, bamboo skewers and toothpicks. You can see their lovely work in our gallery. At last, we had a great feast at our Thanksgiving party and we were wishing each other Happy Thanksgiving!

Diwali, also known as the festival of light, is being celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs and Jains. It lasts for several days and has special significance for each of these religions and is celebrated in a different way. Lamps are lit to symbolise the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness. Families share sweets and fireworks are let off. For Hindus it is one of the most important festivals of the year as it starts the new year and is a chance to offer thanks to the goddess of wealth, Lakshmi. Visiting our gallery you can discover what we already know about this wonderful holiday.

Preschoolers couldn’t wait to visit the fire station, so they found themselves a new game to play – they built a fire tower last Wednesday!  Actually, they built a few towers... You ask why? It seems that it is not the building, but the destroying that is the biggest fun for them! This is why they made a few samples. Visit our gallery to see the photos!
