Small Steps into the Wonders of Engineering at IPG
We are introducing a new educational project developed in collaboration with the University of Gdańsk. The programme brings early engineering and STEM experiences into the preschool environment through hands-on activities that encourage exploration, experimentation, and invention.
During the sessions, children will work with simple machines, basic circuits, movement and balance experiments, construction materials, and introductory coding tools. They will design and build their own small projects, test ideas, and learn to approach challenges with curiosity and independence.
The classes are led by Dr Patrycja Brudzińska, an educator and researcher from the University of Gdańsk who specialises in early-years engineering education. Her work focuses on helping young children develop problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and an understanding of how things function through guided discovery and practical, age-appropriate tasks.
This collaboration offers our learners an engaging introduction to STEAM education and supports the development of foundational scientific thinking from an early age.
